PEMEXin juttu oli nyt odotettavissa, että katseet käännetään offshoreen. Mitenkä tarkasti tuo Meksikon alueen GOM on tutkittu vai aletaanko se nyt tutkimaan tarkemmin vai kokonaan alusta?

Paria sataa jalkaa syvempiä alueita ei ole tutkittu kovin tarkasti. Ei ole toistaiseksi ollut tarvetta. CGGVeritas tiedotti reilu viikko sitten saaneensa Pemexiltä vajaan puolen miljardin arvoisen syvän veden 3D-kartoitus sopimuksen.
