Petrobras gets Ocean Courage
"Petrobras has contracted Diamond Offshore's deep-water rig, Ocean Courage, for five years, the rig contractor said today.
The contract with Petrobras will run from December at just over $410,000 per day, below the $500,000 mark topped by Transocean in a few recent deals.
But Diamond said Petrobras negotiated the rate before the buy, and Diamond agreed to honor it, Reuters reported.
Diamond completed its $460 million buy of PetroRig I, which it renamed Ocean Courage, from Sembcorp Marine unit Jurong Shipyard in June, when Diamond said it had received several inquiries from potential customers."
Ocean Courage sekoittui aiemmin Ocean Guardianiin. Tässä mennään siis käytännössä PetroMENAN vuonna 2006 solmiman sopimuksen ehdoilla. Udw:ssa taitaa olla taas kaikki alukset käytössä.
