Anglo Canadian Oil Corp. Provides Operations Update

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 16, 2010) - Anglo Canadian Oil Corp. ("Anglo" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ACG) has completed the initial evaluation of the vertical Sturgeon Lake S. 5-10 well. After placing 60 tonnes of sand into the Nordegg zone using propane as a carrier fluid, the well produced, over the last four days of swabbing, a stabilized average of 1.5 m3 oil/d (9 bbl oil/d) with water cuts at 61%. The well will be put on pump as soon as possible to evaluate longer term production.

9 tynnyriä öljyä yhdestä frackista, horisontaaliin 10-15 frackia, joten ehkä 90-135 tynnyriä öljyä. Vaikuttaa jossain määrin lupaavalta, mutta tässäkin on vettä, joten Nordegg-muodostelmasta teetetty tutkimus näyttää yhä vähemmän luotettavalta, sillä tuon mukaan muodostelmassa ei pitänyt olla vettä. Ottaen huomioon että tämä on vertikaali ei vesi voi tulla mistään muusta muodostelmasta kuin Nordeggista ja frakkivettä tämä ei ole.

Nämäkin luvut ovat swab-testauksen lukuja, jolloin kaivo on tuottanut todennäköisesti vain tuntien pituisia yhtenäisiä jaksoja. Ei omistusta yhtiössä, mutta seurailu jatkuu.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 20, 2010) - Anglo Canadian Oil Corp. ("Anglo" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ACG) has suspended operations on its Shane 7-11 horizontal well. The well was drilled, cored, logged, plugged back and drilled horizontally through a 32 metre thick Nordegg zone, which included two relatively porous and fractured limestone lenses and a dolomitic portion near TVD at 1,300 metres.

The 600 metre dolomitic portion of the horizontal 1,240 metre length wellbore was washed with acid and produced up to approximately 2 m3/day oil. The upper limestone lenses were fractured in 6 stages using a ported packer system with a total of 180 tonnes of sand. The horizontal wellbore profile was designed in such a manner which would allow testing of the different facies as observed from the core samples. Also, this relatively shallow Nordegg horizon would help contain costs while testing different completion techniques. The Nordegg is as deep as 2100m TVD on Anglo southerly land holdings.

Tämä ei kyllä mene yhtiön suunnitelmien mukaan, sillä ACG:n viime viikolla julkaisemassa presentaatiossa lukee että Nordeggissa ei pitäisi olla ollenkaan vettä läsnä ja tämän kaivon kohdalla vettä on selvästi enemmän kuin öljyä. Kaivossa on kuusi frakkia öljyä irtosi testissä alle 20 tynnyriä per päivä. Jotta tämä olisi kaupallinen niin jokaisella frakilla pitäisi irrota 15-20 tynnyriä päivätuotantoa. Nordegg on resurssina suuri ja heterogeeninen, eikä yhdestä kaivosta voi tehdä kovin pitkälle meneviä johtopäätöksiä.
