"Nexstar Energy Announces Sale to Result Energy

Nexstar Energy Ltd. ("Nexstar") (NXE.A) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an Arrangement Agreement (the "Agreement") with Result Energy Inc. ("Result") (RTE) whereby Result will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Nexstar (the "Arrangement"). Pursuant to the Agreement, each Nexstar shareholder will receive 1.05 common shares of Result ("Result Shares") for each Nexstar Class A Share ("Nexstar Share") held. This represents a premium of approximately 30% to the shareholders of Nexstar based on the 5-day weighted average prices of the Result Shares and the Nexstar Shares"

Ostaja on Result Energy, joka on Tristar Oil&Gasin(nykyisin osa Petrobakkenia) entisen johdon uudelleen kapitalisoima yhtiö ja yhtiö ilmeisesti on ottamassa TOG:n nimen takaisin käyttöön. Yhtiö ilmoitti tänään parista muusta cardium ostoksesta.

BNN:llä oli tänäänPembina Cardium spesiaali( 3 eri videota aiheesta), jossa haastattelussa mm. Bonterran COO. Videoissa mainittiin Bonterra, Berens, Midway ja West, ja noiden kurssit saivat mukavan boostin.

"Berens Energy Ltd. ("Berens" or the "Company") (TSX:BEN) is pleased to announce initial test results from its 15-21-50-12 W5M Pembina Cardium horizontal oil well (Berens 60% working interest). The 15-21 well is the second Cardium horizontal well operated by Berens. The well was drilled to a horizontal length of 915 metres and was successfully completed with a six stage frac treatment. Test results for the well were 1,250 bbl/day of oil at the end of a 3 day test period. The well will be placed on production in early December, 2009"

Testausvaiheen luvut eivät frakkikaivoissa kerro paljoakaan kestävistä tuotantoluvuista, mutta tuo on silti suuri luku ottaen huomioon että yhtiön ensimmäisen kaivon tuontotestauksessa saavutettu huippu oli 270 tynnyriä per päivä.

Horisontaalin osuuden pituus on suurin piirtein muiden yhtiöiden poraamien tienoilla (n.1000 m.) ja frakkien määrä on sama. Jokin tässä hieman haiskahtaa, kun Berens ilmoitti olevansa myynnissä neljä päivää ennen tuota kaivo-tiedotetta. Tuossa tiedotteessa Berens ilmoittaa sillä olevan 170 Cardium-horistontaalin brutto inventaario, mutta marraskuun presentaatiossa olevasta kartasta näkyy että suurin osa noista suunnitelluista porauspaikoista on Cardium-trendin ulkopuolella ja että Berensin ensimmäiset kaivot on porattu maalle, joka on trendin sisällä. Yhtiö yrittää ehkä nostattaa osakkeen hintaa myyntiä varten.

Berens Energy Provides Results of Its First Pembina Cardium Horizontal Oil Well

"Berens Energy Ltd. ("Berens") (TSX:BEN) is pleased to announce initial results from our 01-14-48-11 W5M Pembina Cardium horizontal oil well. Berens operated the well and has a 50 percent working interest. The well was drilled to a horizontal length of 600 metres. Drilling was terminated short of our original design length of 1,000 metres as a result of isolated drilling and reservoir conditions on this well. The well was subsequently completed with a five stage frac treatment and tested the equivalent of 270 bbl/day of oil at the end of a 48 hour test period. The well will be placed on production by early November, 2009..."
