Offshore beyond oil & gas

Master Marine wins $100 million wind farm installation contract
"A $100 million plus installation contract just awarded Norway's Master Marine ASA underscores the fact that wind power projects are set to be an increasingly important part of the offshore services market.

Master Marine has been awarded the contract for the installation of the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm.

The wind farm, which will be the U.K.'s fourth largest, is being developed by Norway's StatoilHydro and Statkraft. Its location is in the Greater Wash, approximately 9 miles (17 km) north of the town of Sheringham, Norfolk, U.K. Total investments are estimated at approximately NOK 10 billion (about US $1.5 billion)..."

Master Marine's shares currently trade on the Norwegian OTC system, but an IPO and a listing into the Oslo Børs is on its plans.
