France told to save the great hamster

PARIS: France has been punished for not taking proper care of its hamsters.

The Court of Justice in Luxembourg, the European Union's highest court, has ruled France failed to protect the great hamster of Alsace, sometimes known as the European hamster, the last wild hamster species in western Europe. If France does not adjust its agricultural and urbanisation policies to protect it, the court said, the government will be subject to fines of millions of euros.

on tullut tehtyä ostoksia. Petromineralesia, Lupea ja ONR:ää lisätty sitten viime perjantain. Brenttu $110-120 ja WTI $100, joten mielestäin Lupe ja PMG eivät ole kalliita. PMG arvostustasoltaan ehkäpä kalliin vastakohta.

Tuo Progress Energyn Montney-JV Petronasin kanssa herätti jälleen kiinnostuksen Terraa kohtaan. Jospa Terrakin löytää rahakkaan kumppanin. En tosin tiedä minkä laatuista TT:n montney on. Pitäisiköhän mahduttaa hieman pussukkaan?

ROCKSOURCE FARMS DOWN ACREAGE POSITION IN AGC PROFOND

Rocksource (OSE: RGT) today announces a farm-down
agreement with Noble Energy in AGC Profond PSC,
offshore Senegal and Guinea Bissau. Through this
transaction Rocksource shall receive reimbursement
for past expenditure, cover for promoted drilling
costs, and receive a contingent contribution towards
any appraisal expenditure. The initial committed
value of this transaction is USD 28 million, with a
further USD 6 million of contribution should Noble
and Rocksource elect to drill a second well following
the drilling of Kora-1, and a further USD 20 million
should a discovery be made and appraisal undertaken...

The first exploration well - the Kora 1 well - is
expected to spud shortly. The Kora prospect has, in
Rocksource's opinion, an expected resource size of
approximately 450 million barrels of oil. To date, 16
prospects have been mapped in the PSC and these
represent a total un-risked resource potential
estimated at approximately 1.7 billion barrels of oil
equivalent. Five of these prospects have been tested
by acquiring electromagnetic (EM) data across them.
The results of processing and interpretation of these
surveys revealed strong positive EM anomalies in
three prospects, of which one was defined mainly
based on the EM results.

The first target to be drilled is the Kora prospect in the northern part of the block, nearly 65 miles offshore in approximately 8,600 feet of water. The Kora prospect has a Cretaceous oil target with gross resources estimated at 450 million barrels of oil equivalent. The chance of success at the prospect is estimated by Noble Energy to be 20 percent. Total well depth is planned to be approximately 15,200 feet. Drilling is anticipated to begin in late June 2011 utilizing the Maersk Deliverer rig, with results expected by the end of August 2011.

David L. Stover, Noble Energy's President and COO, commented, "We are pleased to be adding this new exploration area to the portfolio. Offshore West Africa is a region where the industry has had numerous recent exploration successes, including our own offshore Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon. The AGC Profond block is an area that has not previously been explored and we believe it has significant oil potential. Our new ventures team did a great job of capturing this opportunity for Noble Energy, expanding our already large exploration inventory."

ONR, SOG ja GSY on kuunneltu. GSY:n Salamon on hieman väsyneen oloinen. Hieman enemmän yksityiskohtia SAB-kaivoista irtosi: Ensimmäinen horisontaali on Banffissa toinen Big Valleyssä. Salamon kutsui Big Valleyta varsinaiseksi Alberta Bakken-kaivoksi. Testasivat Gasfracin tekniikkaa(tästä oli tieto jo aikoja sitten Stockhousessa), mutta kivi ei murtunut, joten palasivat tavanomaisempaan.
Banff-kaivoa on swab-testattu noin 180 tynnyriä öljyä per päivä(luku on itse laskettu hieman vaikeasti sekavasti ilmaistuista luvuista), mutta water cut on melko suuri ja kaivossa on vielä rutkasti frakkinesteitä. Tarkempia tietoja Salamon lupasi kuun loppuun mennessä.
Presentaatiosta jäi neutraali vaikutelma.

ONR oli OK. E&P-puoli yhtiössä ei tee vieläkään vaikutusta. Poseidon jyristelee eteen päin. Pohjois-Dakotassa ollaan ilmeisesti kieltämässä frakkineste montut, mikä, käyttääkseni viime aikoina ahkerasti hyödynnettyä ilmaisua, sataa POCSIn laariin. Saa nähdä miten kauan yhtiön etumatka kilpailjoihin säilyy, mutta tällä hetkellä sitä on runsaasti mikä näkyy marginaaleissa.

SOGilta oli taas CFO Screaton esitelmöimässä(kuten viime syksynäkin(mitä ihmettä tj. Schoch tekee fyrkkansa eteen?)). Yhtiö on hyvässä kunnossa, paljon potentiaalisia katalysteja näköpiirissä jne. Screaton vihjaili lähiviikkoina tulevan positiivista dataa yhtiöltä ja viittauksen kohde oli varmaankin tämä. Steen Riverin alueella olevasta Muskeg dolomiitista saattaisi olla resource playksi. Tai sitten ei aika näyttää.
Kokonaisuutena oikein positiivinen vaikutelma jäi, vaikka uutta ei ollutkaan hirveästi.

arranged containers. Each of the containers provides bosses or projections over a
collinear pair of which is placed a separate plate. The plate provides matched polygonal apertures to receive the projections. Each of the projections provides an aperture there through to receive a retainer pin or bolt. the pin or bolt abuts the plate when engaged. The arrangement greatly expedites the separation of the containers when desired. The user need only tap out the retainer pin and pull off the plate. This obviates the use of fasteners which can freeze, rust or become otherwise inoperative or cumbersome.
